If you lightly season your crown, spread a thin layer of butter all over the crown. Seal it well in foil, place the meat flat side down onto a roasting dish, and put chicken/turkey stock in the roasting dish. Place in a moderate oven, and cook for 1 hour. After an hour, take out the meat, undo the foil, baste the meat with the juices contained within the foil. Reseal the meat in the foil, turn the meat upside down (breast side on the roasting tin). Return the meat to the oven, and finnish cooking the crown. This will ensure that the meat will be moist when finished cooking. Use the meat residues for a rich flavoured gravy

thankyou for this advice so you dont think placing an apple or an onion under the crown will help and maybe add a bit of flavour
