I have found I still have a vacumed packed gammon joint,smoked. in my freezer from this january. What is the freezer life of it,> Or would anyone know if it would be ok to cook and eat. Many thanks in advance.

If it has been solidly frozen and well wrapped - I would eat it with no hesitation.
It will be fine and dandy.

Many thanks for your replies. It is frozen solid. So I will use it at christmas.Brenda
i was watching nigella last week glazing her gammon but then got interrupted by a phone call. can you remember the recipe for the glaze at all, it looked scrummy?

The glaze, Nigella used consisted of :

Approximately 16 whole cloves
4 tbsp redcurrant jelly
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
