Based on a chance remark by John "Toad" Torode in tonight's MasterChef, yay! it's back !! what is the most nervous, or psychotic, or depressed, good clean plate o' food you have ever had ?

Vindaloos could represent anxiety, phalls sexual innovation, korma a Woolworths-grade depression. McDonalds could be the Tourette's of the food world ?

They are not filming as much of the revolting close-up jowelley chomping as in previous series, but it has an early promise.

JT: "That anger today made her lose what could have been a really good pudding"

Eh ? LOL :)

I am going to be very brave here and ask what on earth is meant by a "psychiatrically abnormal" food ? I had cauliflower cheese, mashed potato and sweetcorn for dinner tonight and they seemed to be normal and showed no signs of psychiatric problems whatsoever. I did however eat them whilst drinking lots of water so I'm not sure if that needs to be taken into consideration. All advice gratefully received.
I'm with Jugglering on this one ... am I missing some underlying message, or can I just enjoy food as normal?
Just asked my chinese takeaway leftovers your question, they were really angry cos they were so cold after being stuck in the fridge for days - with nobody that could understand them. Luckily I know cantonese! I felt sorry for them so I chucked them in the microwave for a couple of minutes. They were so happy after that I didn't feel guilty about eating them. Is this normal behaviour for leftovers? Should I feel guilty for not feeling guilty?
I had some leftover cauli cheese and mash, so I had *them* for dinner this evening along with my secretary's allotment runner beans (I mean runner beans from my secretary's allotment not ..... oh, sod it you know what I mean !!) Before I put them into the ping dish, I did ask if they were happy with the way I was heating them up. No reply, so I guess that meant, OK, go ahead, heat us up, see if we care .... They were darn tasty so I think that means they have adjusted well to their new circumstances and there shouldn't be too much of a problem in the future. Watch this space....
Referring to original question, why do some people talk so much $hite about food. You are meant to eat it.
...I am loving the "Woolworths grade depression "...as I have to work there every day... and it is very depressing...

...I did once eat a manic depressive bread and butter pudding...or should that be bi-polar these days?...
