Chop them finely with tomatoes. Make sure they are mild onions (like Spanish ones). No need to do anything fancy, they're supposed to be palate-cleansing before your curry to come (yum!).
im lazy just buy them from the supermarket
I always chop the onions finely mix with tomato puree and add a touch of garlic powder and black pepper.
chop onions finely,add a bit of cucumber chopped,bit o tomato chopped,and just a tad of mint sauce,mix up,bobs yer uncle.
Peel and halve the onion. Slice very finely or chop if you prefer. Mix in Heinz tomato ketchup and cayenne pepper.
Make at least 30 mins in advance and stir now and then. If you prefer you can add chopped mint or coriander.
