What get's you drooling on a saturday night as you walk into town for a few beers.....the chippy, the kebab shop, the italian restaurant, the burger bar, the chinease takeaway ??????.....all smell good but nothing beats the smell as you walk past the Indian restaurant.....awesome.

We have a short road in my home town of Lewes, East Sussex and it has all the above shops/restaurants in or very near and the smell on a saturday evening is orgasmic !!!

Ward~minter....are you local (Lewes). Obviously you would appreciate the aroma as you walk up Fischer street past the Dilraj and Beijing and on past the big Italian (i think) place on the corner.

Spent many a happy time in the kabab shop you mention....especially after a skinfull !!!

we pass the kitchen of an Italian restaurant and the smell of freshly cooked garlic bread is nearly enough to prevent me reaching the pub. Smell of frying onion gets the saliva glands working too
Salty salty chips with ketchup and mayo.
It's the Indian for me, everytime. BTW Hammerman & Ward~ Minter. Greetings from Newhaven.

Fisher Street does have some great smells after a beer or two in Lewes.

I would love to. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen often, (but definitely every bonfire night )
