Weight Gain meals

I've recently started doing some training to try and build muscles and put on a bit of weight. Apparently I've got to eat a lot of carbs and protein. Does anyone know of any pasta dishes or other recipes that are contain these types of ingredients and are not that difficult to make ?

There's a brill e-book by a body builder called Tom Venuto called Burn the fat, Feed the muscle and it tells you everything you need to know including diet, how it works, what body type you are so you know what your body needs, how to work out, pumping iron etc...


It costs about $30 from his website, not sure of the address, but i'm sure i've seen if for about a fiver on ebay. Hope that helps, i know it's not recipes but i know there are loads of basic meals in the book.

Carbs: bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, cous cous etc
Protein: meat and fish.

Please don't waste $30 on a stupid book.
