More questions about the fridge I'm afraid, this time I am interested in any of your observations, criticisms, thoughts about the design of your fridge, any good points about its design, bad points, possible improvements or ideas. Once again I thank you for taking the time to help me out, cheers, matthew.

Hi matty, I do wonder why the salad/veg drawers are at the bottom of the fridge. Considering raw meat is put above these compartments (on plates usually) and can leak/bleed downwards towards the items in the drawers, it seems like a bad design. Food and Safety etc....
I have a bosch 'easy access' fridge.

This link gives a good description. I've had it a couple of years and love it.

I've never heard it humming, it really is silent.

The drawers pull out for easy access so no more nasties rotting in the back of the fridge.

The drawers are solid, so nothing can drip /spill on to the food underneath.

Also because the drawers have a deep lip, less cold air escapes when you open the door.

As on older person with some mobility problems, this fridge is ideal.

Did I say I love it?
i like how you can move the shelves around to fit in bigger things. i like the bit for the eggs and that you can remove it and keep other things in there if you dont have any eggs. the shelf at the top of the fridge door has a little hood thing over it which is perfect for hiding things in! i like having two separate salad drwers instead of one big one. i like the light inside so you can have a midnight snack without putting the kitchen light on. i like how the shelves are easy to clean, and they're clear glass so you can see when they are clean. i also like how the freezer beeps if you leave the door open. wow i actually really love my fridge. its funny the things you take forgranted!
The bigger the better, I think, as I like sufficient space to store as many of my vegetables as possible to keep them fresher for longer. I like fridges which have plenty of adjustable shelves and a roomy door which will take wine bottles, and also accommodate all those bottles of sauces, etc. which tell you to "Refrigerate once opened." I would love a fridge which beeped when the door wasn't properly closed. (this has happened to me on one or two occasions)/ I also like a salad/vegetable plastic container which which is see-through and strong enough to take a few knocks without cracking or breaking. And of course an interior light and a fridge/freezer design which has the fridge located above the freezer for more regularly and easy access.
Shelving is quite important. My Boch fridge has glass shelves. If anything leaks, it does'nt drip all the way down. And, a temperature viewer that you can view and set so the fridge can always be at the right temperature.
