Not wanting to use gelatine, I have found *Psyllium husk powder* as an alternative.

Wanting to use this to make jelly, I would appreciate advice on suitable recipes.

I have juices I have prepared from raspberries, red currants and black currants all awaiting their use in a trifle. Yum! Yum!

I just had a quick Google as I've only ever used it in a wheat free bread.
This source says agar agar is better. I suppose it depends on why you won't/can't use gelatine.

Psyllium husk is most often used as a laxative! If taken with just a bit of water, it can be used to treat diarrhoea too. It's more of a thickening agent than a setting agent I think. I googled and someone had put this "Do not use psyllium husk. It tastes terrible and no amount of sugar will mask the taste. Try using agar-agar instead, that's what vegans use for vegan marshmallows.", when someone had asked about a gelatine replacement!

I think that's ^^^^ similar to the link I posted. ;) So that must be the general consensus.
