OH and I are going for a Thai tonight and I'm out tomorrow with a colleague for a drink and a bite to eat. Sunday we're going to look at wardrobes for the bedroom and dressing room.
Other than that, I'll relax, read, and cook meals for the freezer for a rainy day (with no kitchen).
That's still something to look forward to though, isn't it?
I haven't got the facility to cook for people at the moment, unless it's a burger and chips or something else that can be eaten off your lap. I had my parents up a couple of weeks ago and took them out for Sunday lunch but would rather have cooked for them.
Emptying the clotheshorse and then refilling it.
Cooking a meal this evening, something pasta based as I don't feel like doing too much.
Wrapping a parcel to send to a friend and just usual domestic chores.
Nothing interesting. Not going out and not seeing anyone.
Hope everyone else is doing better than me.
That's very kind of you, Lady-J. We actually have two microwaves, so that's the idea of making lots of homemade meals now to see us through when we finally get round to ripping that monstrosity of a kitchen out.
Banter is good. Generally there's lots of it when we see my parents. They are a little less conservative than my husband's parents.
you know, stuff you need to do to keep life moving along that you don't enjoy - food shopping, housework, replying to personal emails, replacing worn out towels etc. Alll the stuff I don't have time for while im working and don't have the energy for in the evenings but need doing nonetheless
Well I am trying to catch up with work after several weeks of dodgy internet and dodgy arm. Why I think I am going to catch up 3 weeks' of hell in two days is anyone's guess. I am clearly being over optimistic.
Oh and I have to cook lunch on Sunday since it is Mr's birthday on Monday. Thank goodness for Waitrose and their pre-made cakes.
And I have to tidy the house. Although I'm inclined to think "knickers to it", particularly as we could be moving very soon!
I certainly know all about that, Bednobs. I have such a long to-do list, it's not even funny. Sometimes I don't stop from 5:30am until 8:30pm and by then I'm too exhausted to carry on and jobs get put to one side.
