They are raving about these in M&S - would you eat them. I mean is bone marrow blood - just like black pudding.

JJ...osso buco isn't a burger. It's a cut of veal( British rose veal....no cruelty). It's from the shank and lovely slow cooked.
Not for me. I think of it as dog food.
I think we knew that Pasta but as it's a burger thread, we searched for osso buco burgers.

I was always the one who had to ask the butcher for a big marrow bone on the weekly shop, thoroughly enriched any stew and made a change from Winalot.
I've heard that these burgers are the very best out there, but I must have a burger once in a blue moon. Next time I do have a burger, I'll give the M&S ones a try.
My mother always got a marrowbone from the butcher for the dog.
Naomi...I hope you meant beef burgers...
Mamya...ahhh. Looks interesting, but too many ingredients.
Tha were posh lass, we ate the dog.
Mmmm, must look out for them next time I'm in M&S, which is hardly ever. I love bone marrow.
Pasta, no, bone marrow.
Bet you're not fond of cow heel then?
Not posh, Mamyalynne ... just refined. ;o)
I think it's become trendy in recent years...but it's also very nutritious.
Never had that, Mamyalynne. I've had pigs trotters though.
I got some cow heels for my dog...she wouldn't touch them.
Bone broth is supposed to be a superfood. I'm happy to eat something with bone marrow in. It's probably better than what's in your average sausage or faggot.
Grew up on all this stuff that chefs are now making popular and expensive.
As I recall pigs trotters are okay, but the corns are a bit tough to chew. ;o)
Yes you need a porker who's looked after their pedicure..
Three things I would absolutely refuse to eat as a child: tripe, cow heels and brawn. Was never subjected to pigs' trotters.
