As OH and I are going away for New year we set a budget.

OH went over and I’ve just totted up what I got OH and I went over too - oops.

That what Christmas is all about - treating loved ones. As long as you don't go in to debt to do it, of course. :)

What was ur budget out of interest as we agreed one this year for first time ever

Thankfully I’m not allowed to go into Debt hc and I haven’t so that’s a plus.

We set a budget of £50 but £60 was the maximum Smow.

I go into debt all the time, it's what credit cards are for. It only defers the debt for a few weeks, of course, but I always pay at the end of the appropriate month so I don't pay interest. No harm in a little deferment over Christmas/New Year.

I’m on a Debt Management plan so I don’t have that option. Because of store credit and 2 credit cards and being made redundant I’m still paying off Christmas's past :( but I’m doing really well though.

How funny QOM as out budget was also £50. So my aim was to get as many possible presents for that amount -it became quite a game for me! You’d be amazed at what I managed to get!

I thought it was an acceptable amount Smow. But it is amazing what you can find though.
