Pork pie warmed up in the microwave for 30 seconds, small tin of petits pois and mint sauce. Trust me, it's delicious!

Melton Mowbray Pork pie is nice with a salad. There's nothing better than a pie bought in the shop in Melton Mowbray. Pure heaven!
Sprinkle it with the bits of fat and gristle that didn't make it into the pastry.
Branston pickle of course, and some nice crusty bread !
Indian giver ;-/
1ozzy.....can you get Branston Pickle down under ?
Yep, good stuff too Mikey.
Love it!!
I couldn't live without Branston.....a cheese sandwich without it would be unthinkable !
Just add Coleman's English mustard to taste. No need to make a meal out of it. A tankard of real ale is an optional accompaniment.
Apart from that, as others have suggested, it supplies the cold meat aspect of cold summer meals. I hear rabbit fodder is a popular choice.
English mustard and Beer.
Homemade chutney - definitely not Branston pickle which is an abomination.
salad cream - food of the gods
I have not seen individual pork pies behind a pub counter for years. :-(
Was this a FHA or H&S requirement/ dictat.?
Chutney, cheese (any cheese - blue, gooey, cheddar!), pickle, tomatoes...

Salad, pickled beetroot. Oooo and a bit of brown sauce!
Nice salad, couldn't eat it warmed up you're not supposed to warm pork!

I don't believe heating pork is an issue. As with any food make sure it's heated thoroughly throughout.

Not something I'd think to do though.
Nothing, just a dollop of brown sauce.

Dave.
I can't believe that NoM doesn't like the jelly from the deli in her belly...
I would like to stop eating pork pies. :-)
I like a thick slice of Gala pie with a salad, Branston or piccalily, extra pickled onions, curried savoury rice and a tomato or ten for a summer tea.
