Barbeque out tonight for just me as wife and kids are away for the weekend. Marinated chicken thighs, corn on cob basted in melted lime butter, some beautiful vine ripened toms from Tesco and coleslaw.

All washed down with copious amounts of ice cold Cobra

We breed all our pigs and cows here on our land for flavoursome meat, could never be a veggie. Just sayin.....!

Next weekend is a whole hog roast on the spit with friends round for beers and banter.

Cant wait for the smoked ribs tonight, they are always super DELISH!!!!

Oh heck...not enough charge in the bike to make it to Aberdeen.....I don't think I've been back there since the incident with the pigeons...the hotel window and the duvet...... :-(

MrG was in oil, Frilly...the industry..he didn't wander around covered in oil, so we spent a great deal of time in Aberdeen...in the boom years....☺
One visit our usual hotel was full so we booked one near the city centre...it was so noisy and our sash window didn't fit properly......the bar spilled out into the street and the traffic noise just went on and on.

I hung one of the duvets half in and half out of the window...jammed the sash up and it was bliss......
I slept soundly but the pigeons in Aberdeen didn't....they sat above the duvet pooing all night...every pigeon in the city..... :-(

I let MrG explain to the manager......x
