Actually the winds have calmed here but the rain has been pattering on the conservatory roof for most of the night.

I'm fine thanks mate. She's still as mad as a box of frogs. She was barking and snapping at the water jet from the hosepipe, having a wonderful time. :o}

Ever thought of getting a little pup yourself Boaty?
I can picture "Cap'n Boaty" on the canal with "first mate" pooch :-)

Often mate. I'd love one, but I spend a lot of time out at places I couldn't take a dog, I can be out for 12 hours and it wouldn't be fair to the dog or me. I couldn't take a dog on the boat, unless I had my own, I couldn't expect passengers having a picnic on board to go along with it. I also couldn't take one to meetings I go to either, some of those can drag on too.

When I slow down I'll think about it.

Maybe one day then, in the meantime, full steam ahead!

I need to go and turn the crank handle, there be ankle biters and window lickers waiting to go home.

I use the cattle prod on the parents Boaty, the kids are ok ;-)
