Gawd Tony, it wasn't called 'Gness' by any chance?
Question Author
It is now, Psybbo.
Oi!!! Mind you....we did have a gerbil who got drunk on the fumes of MrG's home made wine....

Three times I took the darned thing to the vet only for it to sober up in the waiting room before the penny dropped.....☺
Question Author
At least he was in a cage though, gness.
Oh heck, thought she wouldn't hear me
Question Author
so did I.
Hey Gness, any bliss today?
I thought it quite appropriate that it was the branch secretary who found the squirrel.
Hi, Psyb......only a little bliss......got three panels of trellis painted and hung....had a glass of wine to congratulate myself....and a couple of menthol ciggies just for fun......☺
Bet he went nuts when he saw the damage, Stuey....x
And I thought that this should have been in Food and Drinkies....

Off topic, what do I do with a £1 coin with a hole in it, about 3mm in diam?
Question Author
Put a chain through it and make a necklace, Psybbo.
Or spend it in a vending machine.
Nah, Tony, too light, got it in either Boots or Waterstones.
I'm pleased that the squirrel was released, unharmed (apart, possibly, from a hangover) into the wild but I wonder if the people who caught it realised that they were committing a criminal offence by doing so? Once you've trapped an animal from a non-native species, the law prohibits you from releasing it back into the wild.

(Bloody 'ell, how come I know such trivia but I can't remember where I put my shopping list, yet alone what's on it?)
;-)
Buenchico, the cute little beast wasn't trapped, it was merely tapped. After all, you do allow lots more non-native species into the country.
The law's a total ass if you can't release if after it accidentally got trapped in the Club !! Love this story ...
