just bought 3 packs of beef mince from the yellow label stall at tesco ( cheap )

i want some ideas what to do with it, spicey meatballs ? something like that ?

Sorry Bobajob, I love mince but your so called manwhich sounds gross and a waste of good food. I do agree that mince meat does need to good quality though, we have just enjoyed a cottage pie, and very nice it was!!

I use this recipe as a guideline. I use fresh or frozen vegetables instead of canned, plus I add a can of baked beans. As I said, it's a guideline only. It's a sort of a mix and match kind of thing.

Whatever you decide to do with it, before starting the recipe put the mince in a saucepan with the lid on over a low heat for about 15 minutes. All the fat should now be sweated out and you can drain this off so that your meal is not greasy.

Chilli con carne would be my choice.
