The frost isn't so thick this morning. No warmer though. No wind, so that's an improvement.

I'm ok. NO frost here this morning. I have to wait in all day for a delivery. I'm advised that my two Tower of London Poppies will be delivered today. Yipppee!..

Coo! Flattery will get you everywhere! ;o} Your poppies. How wonderful! I'm fine thanks...Well, I'll know when I wake up about lunch time. I don't wake up before that, it makes a long day :o}

Oh I'm ok boaty thanks. Had to cancel my Chichester trip yesterday as I got an email in the morning telling me that my poppies were to be delivered yesterday and that thy needed a signature. Soooooo, I waited in all day (I was really happy about that) and at 5pm I contacted Yodel(Grrrr, that company AGAIN!!)and was told "oh there's been a delay, they'll go out to you tomorrow" . Sooo, another day standing on sentry duty at the window waiting for a delivery van and a surly driver.

My hols are nearly finished, one week left to get my act together for the year to come.
And if I recall correctly you reckoned I'd get bored with 6 weeks off.
Nah....it's disappeared before I realised...

It certainly has Jan. Went to Sydney for a week and hung out with relatives, very enjoyable week it was. Went to Queensland to collect my parents, that was enjoyable, except for the being in Queensland bit, bit like going back in time.
Anyway, getting prepared for work again, what fun...

Boaty, I had the same problem with Parcel Force in December. I waited in 2 days for a parcel. It arrived on the second day , in the evening. Got no apology from them.
As for Yodel... every time they are involved in deliveries, my heart sinks. They are ALWAYS late. They ALWAYS let me down. I want my Poppies but... Oh well, just have to hope they arrive before dusk !
