Just finished watching a recording and tried to delete programme. Nothing. Screen frozen, nothing works on the remote. Changed batteries, tested life of batteries, all ok. Absolutely flummoxed.
Really liked the product. Can't watch anything I've recorded today, have to play scrabble!

we have Humax caran they have a help/support line 08446698800/0677 option 2. I dont know about weekends and its sometime since I rang them, but I hope it helps.
Unplug from mains - count twenty - plug in again and wait.

It worked sunny-dave. Strangely it carried on recording while it was out of action. All happy bunnies again.
We have this problem also, ours does it every Wednesday morning until Thursday about 4pm. Humax just tells us to re-tune it but that doesn't work. We find that sunny dave's suggestion usually works.We relocated it to another room and got a Youview' box from BT but guess what -turns out it is a Humax too, just hope it doesn't go the same way. I never thought of switching off completely, but I should have. I got my iPad working again yesterday by completely shutting it down for a while.
Thanks for the tip dave.
it works for me too when I pull plug from the wall count slowly to 20 and put it back.
