Anyone suggest a tasty 'healthy' breakfast cereal please?
I'm getting a bit tired of Weetabix, All-Bran, porage etc.,etc.,.....

What about a bowl of mixed berries and a yoghurt? Not cereal, I know, but different and healthy.
poached eggs
How about soaking 3 or 4 dried apricots overnight in water, chopping them up, and adding to porridge?
I think porridge is as good a breakfast as you can find.
I agree with chris^

Poached eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and bacon, toast, marmalade and coffee. Once a week or twice a week maximum.
And I agree with Chris and Sqad. An occasional fry up is very toothsome.
Fried eggs and bacon! I couldn't believe it but there it was on my Lo-Carb diet sheet!
chopped fruit.melon, grape , berries with a little granola mix...yummy !
I bet there's no toast allowed though, jomlett.
Frayed knot, Tilly!

Thanks guys, I do already have the odd poached eggs/toast or fry-up. Was hoping for suggestions along the lines of commercial cereals....
fruit n fibre..flakes with fruit....go to ALDI only £1.45 per box compared to nearly £3 in others...benefits flakes with red berries....like red berry special k no different other than the price....malties....wide selection of cereals there..
crunchy bran
We mix one bag each of two brands of muesli. The cheaper one is a bit short on fruit and nuts, while the dearer one has too much of them to appeal to us on its own.

Tried Crunchy Bran- which I enjoyed vm some time ago & sort of forgot about.....glad to be reminded. Also used to get Jordan's Crunchy Nut cereal which was good too..
Jordans make a crunchy breakfast cereal, which comes in different varieties.
I like the one with raisins and almonds in, and the cranberry one is worth looking for. I eat mine with that delicious Greek Yoghurt that Lidl sells in those great buckets. Its so cheap that you can spoon loads onto your plate without breaking the bank !

Try alternating your breakfasts. Porridge, mini shredded wheat, cornflakes, malt wheats, then at the weekend, scrambled eggs, omlette, even try sardines on toast.

So much to choose from
Porridge to me is never boring. Wouldnt dream of eating anything else.
Scrumptious . 7 days a week.
Porridge.

Dr Samuel Johnson.

Stop the cereal, too much sugar. Try scrambled eggs and smoked salmon now and again, tasty, healthy and will fill you up for longer
I like different muesli from Holland and Barret health food shops
