I didn't bad bad at all, it was quite tasty, a mild sauce of some type will not ruin it, dare I say it tastes "like chicken"! I could eat a breast at one sitting! (so to speak!!!!!)
Yes, in a posh Swiss hotel. Also, have bought ostrich steaks in Lidl. One extreme to the other! Very enjoyable.
Yep, very lean and a bit gamey. There are a couple of ostrich farms around here, bit of a surprise when you go riding by!

yes, bought some in Tesco. It was horrible but that might have been the marinade.
We went to a curry house on Monday and they had ostrich and crocodile on the menu (didn't try either though).

Me & the missus both agree that the burgers are not too clever, but if you buy ostrich fillet & cook it as you would a beef steak, they are really nice.......
