just got back from cambridge, where i had to get a new mobile - as mine decided to start malfunctioning

i popped in to marks & spencer to pick up something to eat this evening and saw 'pineapple and coconut gateaux'

it's in the fridge now, i can't wait to try it later - would anybody like a piece?

I know you prefer to ignore me which is fine, this is a serious question and something I am currently working on.

Can you please clarify what M&S sold you?

Did you get more than one?
Why are you waiting ...I've have sampled it as soon as I got home xx
I'd have eaten it on the way home :)

but then i'd have had to share with everyone else on the bus, scorpiojo
What is share? ;-)
Obviously not what Jo would do ;)))
Very true xx
I'm trying to find this item on the M&S website which is proving taxing as I can only find a cake and am not convinced it is the right thing.

Can someone please post a link.

PLEASE!
He ignores me too, Eccles. Very immature!
I can only find a cake, Eccles :(
Thanks that is what I am finding too.

Excel, is this what you bought?
We are having bbq , I would love a piece, will look out for it on my next trip to M and S.
You would need to treat yourself after braving Cambridge on a hot day like today. Enjoy your dessert.

We found a breeze on the east Norfolk coast and are back in the garden now. I wish I had bought something with pineapple and coconut though!

that's it - i should have said cake, instead of gateaux
Thank you for clarifying.

it's delicious!

portions here now for scorpiojo, ecclescake, seekerz, catswhiskas, Maydup and 237sj --- come and tuck in ladies

anyone else?
Thanks excel - I`ll pass on the cake though. I`m not much of a cake person although I did make a nice jamaican ginger cake a while ago. I opened the tin to finish it yesterday and it had gone mouldy - that`s how often I eat cake!
