I am so looking forward to this!

I absolutely loved the book - for a debut novel it was startlingly well executed, every sentence was put together so well, and if the film is half as good it will be brilliant.

Anyone else read the book - looking forward to the film? Media URL: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2604798/I-did-not-kill-wife-Ben-Affleck-protests-innocence-bleak-official-Gone-Girl-movie-trailer.html

Oooh...will look forward to that.
I actually enjoyed her two earlier books more, read them after GG. She creates a great atmosphere of unease and menace in the stifling heat of the Deep South.

Oh, I thought GG was her first - whatever, it's a fantastic book.

viv - I suggest you have another go, you'd be amazed how turbo-charged it gets further on into the story.

I'm half way through the book, and have gotten to THAT BIT.

The revelation.

I am flabberghasted.

Such an amazing book.

So much so, that when I got into work, I searched out Gillian Flynn's other two novels.

I am seriously impressed.
