How Do You Get Paint Out Of The Furrow Of A Yale Key?

Dip a bit of steel wool in paint stripper. Wrap the steel wool (not a soap pad) round something (end of a nail file, e.g.) that will fit in the furrow/groove, and rub gently.

How do you get a Yale key out of your index finger knuckle is a harder question to answer...or it was for our first aider when I showed her my finger with the key going in one side of the finger..under the knuckle...and out the other side....she passed out.....☺

Leaving school on the windiest day ever...armful of books....bunch of keys swinging from one finger....opened the car door...wind took the door and slammed it shut with my hand and the bunch of keys in it.
The yale key went in and out of the knuckle.....I bleed very freely...which saved marking any books that night and the kids with the bloodiest books complained bitterly....
