I hate it!
I want my own food on my own plate, thank you very much. When did this trend for sharing a pudding start?

I can understand, perhaps, a mixture of finger food so each can have a taste of different things but share one pudding in one bowl? Never.

Fair enough.
I have been known to stab people with my fork for stealing food from my plate.

If you wanted chips/pudding/etc then you should have ordered it yourself.

I do not run a buffet service from my dinner plate, thank you.
Agree !
I've shared a pudding with a friend in Sticky Fingers more than 10 years ago. We were both totally stuffed from the previous courses but wanted to try their famous bread and butter pudding...............
See, I love sharing dessert. There's something quite romantic about one plate, and two spoons or forks.
okkkkk, I've not seen this, but... Not to my taste though.
sharing a pudding, are you mad. x
I had a seafood sharing platter few weeks back. It came with two plates.

Sharing a pudding is something I've always done. I don't really have a sweet tooth so it's pointless me ordering something I'll only have a couple of spoons of.

I don't even mind people nicking chips off my plate :-)
No ummmm, I'd stab anyone who nicked my chips.............
someone dipping their spoon in MY pudding no chance.
I'm always too full for a whole dessert to myself, so that's where sharing comes in.

Share a bottle of wine, share a pud. Perfect :-)

ummmmm, are you for real?

Nicking chips is an offence punishable by a big pinch as far as I'm concerned
i love sharing food, i never know what to have so if everyone has something different, then all share...
Sharing a dish if pre-agreed is ok. Being asked to share by someone who's changed their mind because they've seen my order and 'fancy a bit' is out of order and a fork in the forehead is not an unreasonable reply imo...
It's a great idea, especially puddings that I usually don't have room for.
Indian takeaways are the best for sharing.

All get something different, then share.

They always serve up too many chips anyway.

I wouldn't be into sharing with just anyone. Me and OH usually order meals and share them.
My 3 daughters and myself often order a different pudding each, and then take some, and pass the bowl to the next person, so we each have some of all the different types! Greedy - us - never!
lol fluff, you need to watch the episode of Gavin & Stacey where Mick is ordering the Chinese takeaways................
Lol...you greedy bunch :-)
