My food processor has been put away with the plastic mixing bowl inverted over the blades - and when I went to use it I found that the blades are wedged and stuck in the plastic bowl. I can't pull the bowl off without scratching it on the blades. Any ideas? TIA

I think you have no choice but to pull the bowl away. Can't think of an easier way of removing the bowl without scratching it.
Can you perhaps put the bowl into another bowl of hot water - but only if you can be sure the water won't get into the electrics of thr mixer.

Then try and pull the bowl off after a while, whilst its still warm.

Thanks very much both. Will try Tuvoks thought and then if that fails will have to pull hard and hope. Thanks again
Just what i would suggest, warm the bowl if you can and see if it gives enough to pull the blades away. Maybe pour hot water into the bowl and wait a while, then add a tablespoon of oil and seeif you can gentle twist the blades out.
Wouldn't the motor get wet if you pour water on the bowl?
