Yes... It's not like rice. (as far as I know)
Question Author
That's what was confusing me. It looks like rice, acts like rice but it's not in the rice isle in Tesco :)
yup just bing it
yes...but i would sprinkle a little water on it first or it will turn into ball bearings! x
I don't think there is any 'stupid questions' !!
Question Author
It's in a bowl with some chicken, how long should I ping it for?

(I know, I'm embarrassed I even have to ask this stuff)
Agree with Gavmacp. Sometimes lots of stupid answers, though
I would do it for a minute stir test and then do it in minute batches - you don't want the chicken to dry out
do it a couple of minutes each time and stir the food. if you can, make the chicken into smaller lumps, so the cous cous won't be overdone. or....nukethe food groups separately somehow.
but you can reheat rice in the microwave......

Thank you all! I can now reeeaalllllyyyy enjoy my lunch. Hurrah!

As an aside, an old boss once told me 'there's no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer'. He then went on to berate me for not understanding how to do something really difficult. Moron. :)
I am Queen of the stupid questions :-)

I've never tried cous cous. Quite a few kids have it for lunch at work. Sometimes it looks delish and sometimes I feel guilty giving them it because it looks so bad! Haha!
erin try the ainsley harriot stuff as it as the herbs and spices already mixed in with it
There is a saying 'The effectiveness of your communication is the response it gets'. Though sometimes without doing it myself I don't think I could of made it clearer.
I am a cous cous fan. I make it up from the ready seasoned packs in waitrose and eat half hot then the other half cold the next day.
We use the Ainsley Harriot packets which ar lovely. Especially with salmon.

I've only just found out I like it Erin.

I bought a pack of pre mixed Mediterranean couscous (Sun Valley or something) and it's so easy to make and so yummy. And I'm the fussiest eater in the entire world.
Would it be better heated in a steamer? It wouldn't dry out then.
more faff than nuking it sandy, and if you are at work it might be nuke or nothing.
My wife has recently made Moroccan chicken with cous cous and dates which is lovely!
