or what do you do with the left-overs? No leftovers with our goose, so I usually make a beef or lamb curry, and buy the party packs of samosas and bhajis and stuff to go with it.

It'll be cold meat and pickles tomorrow, turkey curry on the 27th, 28th and probably the 29th! I would've rather had duck or goose today, but you get your moneys worth out of a turkey!
Curry is for right at the end, tomorrow would be cold turkey and ham with buttery mash and pickles. Had a goose last year, no left overs at all.

Watching sons playing football tomorrow, they love coming home to curry and pilau rice and chips, it's one of our traditions
>>>what do you do with the left-overs?

I'm eating them now

OK, I don't really get 'left overs' because I just bought 300g of cooked turkey breast (carved from the bone) from Morrisons. A 'big half' of that was heated with butter in foil and served, with all the usual trimmings, as my Christmas Day lunch. The rest is being nibbled on now, unaccompanied by anything more than a glass of wine.
PS: Tomorrow's lunch will be coq au vin.

very nice buenchico, homemade?
Cold meat & bubble & squeak tomorrow, maybe turkey with pasta on Thursday but then I'll boil the bones down and make a turkey & lentil stew
We've not had our Christmas puddings yet, we were too stuffed with our main course - so we'll have them tomorrow!
I haven't had a traditional Christmas meal and haven't bought anything out of the ordinary.

The only thing I have in abundance is pomegranates.....bizarre, I know!
>>>very nice buenchico, homemade?

No this time. (I can make an excellent Coq au Vin but I grabbed tis one from Morrison's freezer yesterday when I was rushing to get a train to a pub!)

Tomorrow is more of the same on my menu due to making too much as always.
we make our own version of special fried rice with prawns, peas, sweetcorn, mushrooms, chillies, peppers, (usually chicken) turkey (this time!) and shredded fried egg. eaten with tons of ground pepper and soy sauce.....it is irrisistable. we'll see how it goes this week! x
