how do end an formal letter, i want some information from them and so have written Thank you in anticipation , is this okay?

yours sincerely is the most common, some use yours faithfully though i dont really use that.

the thank you in appreciation is good, but you should still put yours sincerely or whatever. hope this helps!

Thanking you in anticipation is fine, followed by Yours faithfully if the letter starts Dear Sir/s - Yours sincerely only if letter starts Dear Mr/Mrs .
