Only if the quarter pounder actually weighs quater of a pound - the weight of burgers always tends to refer to the weight of the meat before it has been cooked - once cooked, water/moisture has evaporated, leaving a much lighter burger!

Without nitpicking about the weight of the food the general point is correct yes if you eat something it will be added to your weight so if you weigh yourself immediately after eating then you should have incorporated the weight.

Try this weigh yourself on proper scales, ie balance scales, then drink a pint of water and weight yourself again you should weigh 1.25 pounds more.

This experiment was carried out on Sky One programme called Brainiac and yes you did put on quarter pound but as previously stated if you weigh immediately
