A friend of my mum bought one and thinks it is wonderful. She says that the amount of oil she is NOT using is staggering
I use mine every day! you can even just stick chicken nuggets in, or chunks of meat etc, or frozen chips/roasties, it comes with a little recipe book which tells you what you can put it in, I love mine, I would say definitely worth it! x
The price has come right down
friend of mine has one - treated herself to it as a Chrissy prezzy - and thinks it is wonderful

Do you get that oil smell about the house?
Do the chips actually taste like they've been fried properly?
Many thanks in advance x
The black colour one is really cheap at the moment
I fancy the phillips airdry frier no oil used, but quite alot dearer
my pal says that is what she likes about it - no cooking stench - and perfect chips every time
No
Which? lists it as a Best Buy, but say that it takes about 40 mins use, and chips done in them taste like oven chips. Can anyone comment on the taste of chips when done this way?
Takes 12 minutes in the phillips one
The chips taste rubbish and you can only cook a few at a time.

The halogen oven is far better
I've never had a decent chip out of mine. If you buy one don't leave unattended, I'm on my third..one the lid broke..one set on fire.
OOh Mick - I bought a halogen oven in January -a burst of enthusiasm and I haven't yet unpacked it !
I have one,I like it, think it's a bit pricey really, my OH bought it, he's a real gadget man!......but I do rate it!.....lovely dry cruncy chips, and you can cook so much more in it too!..........
