I am in no doubt that she will blamed for dying on purpose or people will blame the government for squandering loads of money when they should have known that this would happen.

No, but she's an elderly lady, it can't be discounted.

It's in our BH list as well, bednobs, people are already booking leave off around that week (particularly as it's halfterm week - moved specially - round here too)

Is she ill, she didn't look it last time she was on the news. Besides if she did, they would be busy arranging a state funeral, so you would still get a day off anyway. Does sound rather cold when you put it like that

as far as i know she's not ill, but she is an old lady, who has to die sometime. If she died tomorrow, they would not still be organising a state funeral in june i guess!
i agree that they must have thought about this already, after all she is in her 80's

If she dies, the holiday is off, that's pretty obvious isn't it? But who knows, you, or anyone of us, could go first.

If I lived her privileged lifestyle I would not be sat here alone relying on this computer to amuse me. And don't worry she is not going to die unless by some mishap she has an accident or gets assassinated and I do not think that very likely with all the bodyguards she has taking care of her.
