Filo pastry

I've got some filo pastry left that I ought to use up. I fancy making a dessert for tonight's supper with it. Any nice suggestions, please?

Also Trim named a type of dessert a few weeks back. I think it was greek and it began with an "S" and looked absolutely scrummy - can anyone remember it's name, please?

lol, I am having a senior moment, it wasn't a dessert. It was spanokopita I think. Given that we are having spinach and ricotta cannelloni, not sure we want spinach and cheese squares for afters!!!!

I might just stick the filo in the freezer and save it for spanokopita which I think sounded fantastic.

I'd stick with Baklava then. //

I used to wear one of those,OK if knitted properly & the eye holes are in the right place.

Line a flan tin with the filo, butter it, caramelise some apples, place them on top of the pastry, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and bake until pastry is browned. You can use pears as a substitute.
