can anyone name the rum and banana liquer that was sold in the uk in the mid 1980's?. i think it came in a banana coloured bottle and was usually advertised on television in the run up to christmas. it had a catchy jingle that went something like "drinking rum and banaaaanaa". after a few years i never saw the advert and i think the drink ceased production.

was it malibu ?
DeKuyper products were always advertised in the run up to Christmas. Their Creme de Bananes is still available on the continent:

thanks for your replies folks. im certain it wasn't any of your suggestions and after trawling through my mind i seem to think it was called something like lamaba or lambada or something similar. i did a quick google on those names but it didn't come up with anything.

malibu is a coconut liquer in a a white bottle, not banana
