I didn't write Birthday cake, as the cake had no resemblance for a Birthday, and just looked like three different sized whole Stilton cheeses on top of each other, with icing spread over it.

It could have been for the opening of a supermarket, a new motorway, or a hospital, for all we knew, nothing about being ninety years old.

It wasn't even level, and had a look of the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

Is that the bake-off winner one in purple? I sw that too, thought the picture must have been taken with a wide-angle lens 'cos the cake was so distorted. Looked amateurish and unfinished.
I didn't like the look of it.
Well, whether or not it has soggy bottoms, HM won't have to eat it.

It didn't look good though.

Apparently there is a tv programme made or coming soon, of how she made the cake, that's going to be riveting viewing, set your reminder!
It looked awful. I wonder what the Queen thought!
apparently it ''cut'' which was a relief
i'm glad it wasn't presented to me as i would have had a terrible time trying to say thank you and looking pleased.
Well it certainly got the 'Tweeters' indignant - you'd think the poor lass had committed treason.

In some shots it appears to lean and in others it's straight.

Fortunately Her Majesty has no difficulty in being polite in these circumstances.

I thought it was dreadful. What was the baker thinking, 'I want to make it a unbirthdayish and as unappealing as possible'?

No wonder the Queen asked, 'Will it cut.'
i'm sure i saw something very similar on a ladies head at ascot last year

Well, she isn't a professional baker - she is an ameteur
I think it looks alright.
The Queen asked 'Will it cut' because over the years she has been presented with cakes covered in rock solid icing that need a hatchet to get in and is one of her pet dislikes.

I think the cake is exactly typically Nadya and she was brave to be different , there is no doubt she was thrilled to be asked.
“Tweeted that she was 'so honoured' to be asked and about how she couldn't sleep on 'the night before the big day'”

Well she obviously wasn’t up all night putting the finishing touches to her cake. The Queen’s hat looked more like a cake than the cake itself (and it was certainly more perpendicular). The offering was pathetic. What loon allowed so poor an offering on such an auspicious occasion? A better effort would have resulted by allowing eleven year old children to make it.
looks fine to me, i liked the colours

what did you want something with 90 candles on it...
I thought it looked great; I'd love one like that. I like colours and I like something different.
Without trawling the net (because I can't be bothered), I can't believe she wasn't given "guidance" from the Palace as to the form, flavour & colours she could use.

It looked alright to me, I'd have forced a slice down if they'd offered me one.
90 candles and 90 fire-extinguishers if her Maj's HSandE would have anything to do with it.

Mamya, it wouldn't lean in all shots, otherwise it would be straight with no lean!

Righto - off with her head!!
