Lawn Scratched Up.

I got up this morning and a large patch of my grass has been scratched up.

I know I have a fox that comes in the garden but I don't think it is that.

There was some poo in the garden which is definitely not fox but I have never known a cat to scratch up a lawn.

I wouldn't say they are holes just indentations and the grass sticking up.

Any ideas please.

Badger?

^^^ I thought that too!
Fox or badger looking for chafer grubs....my lawn at work looks like a scene from the war after the foxes have been out.
The OH by any chance?
UFO landed then took off again, leaving indentations.

Blue toffee. I can rule that one out. I dont have one although he could have been called a snake in the grass.
I have never seen a badger round here but I will ask around
If it was moss, could have been birds to build their nests.
Question Author
Definitely badgers. Have watched them the last couple of nights.
