You will be all bee busy bees answering this question.

Where is the cheapest place to buy honey in the United Kingdom? Obviously it would be cheapest to make it all yourself but I can not have a hive where I am as my friend's dog would eat all the bees. Honey seems to have gone up in price again and again and the cheapest I can find in in Tescos. Can you tell me where I can find Britain's cheapest honey?

I hope to hear from you soon, and thanks for any replies.

Eat all the bees ? Not the second time surely ?
A bee makes just a 12th of a teaspoon in its lifetime. A one-pound jar represents the nectar from two million flowers.

They worked for it, you pay for it ;-p

Did you know that the London Wasps have a B team?
Honey is bee puke, bee poo is the stuff my car is covered in as it's parked under the flightpath of our hive.
Have you got any local farm shops near you? The ones in my area are quite reasonable on price - not always cheaper than the bargain supermarket brands but far superior in product quality and supporting local businesses is always good :)
Aldi, lidl are pretty cheap and sainsbury do an own brand basic which is ok
ICELAND...definitely.

There is a book called "Honey, Nature's Golden Healer"by Gloria Havenhand
which suggests loads of medicinal uses for honey. A fascinating read.
Surely it would be better to buy local honey to support local hives?
Agreed but we also need to realise that our pockets are not that deep. Local honey is expensive!
then you'll have to get it from the exploited and oppressed bees of Bangladesh Media URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13598104
