No you'll probably faint, and as soon as you start eating again you'll put on all the wait you lost, maybe even more as by then your body will be in starvation mode and will cling on to any food it gets, storing it in case you starve yourself again

If you start eating after 3 days of purely water, you are likely to be OK, but it won't make much of a difference to your weight. You need to combine both healthy food and exercise and maintain it. It's not as hard as it may seem and losing weight always takes some time and a little bit of patience. Start by cutting down on fatty foods and adding a bit of exercise daily.

rather than water, you'd do better by eating say, just fruit or vegetable sticks and juices, but by day three you'll be ravenous and ruin all that you've done so have a light soup or a 'stock (oxo) drink, and a couple of rice crackers - if you have something warm you won't feel so hungry. Or try something like the SlimFast range - my cousin lost 20lbs in three weeks
