Pitty there wasn't a cat on board..
As mentioned - mice on an aircraft are a big no no. They can chew through wires and their corrosive urine doesn't help the metalwork. That's apart from the hygiene issues.

It wouldn't have go on via the catering. I did like the tweet that said the mouse had left the aircraft - yes, via a glue board

There are so many strict rules regarding catering. That wouldn`t have happened in the UK or most outstations in this day and age. I do remember landing from the Seychelles about 20 years ago and a frog jumped out from behind a catering canister.
