Canadian Club Sherry Cask Whiskey
Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

Sorry I'm late to the grotto but have been so poorly .An evil elf pulled the rug right out from under me .What I thought was a cold got much worse and had to have the doctor visit .Mr S insisted.
I was amazed to see my own GP turn up .I've got acute bronchitis and as an extra present the gastric bug that's going around .He was very tactful when i asked what I had done to get VIP treatment and just said ..older person with breathing problems ..lol.
Anyway I have meds and an an inhaler so hopefully it'll gradually clear up ,but I still feel very floppy .
I hope you are all Ok and that you feel better Robinia .
Good luck Jno ..my bro had those tests for his atrial fib .He had to go on a treadmill.They did a resting one too which entailed doing nothing and involved eating chocolate ,so they might give you that one as well at a later date.

Morning all...bitterly cold wind and they've had bad snow up Buxton which isn't unusual but not far away.

Oh dear, you poor thing shaney. I'm glad you had a home visit from your gp, if you feel that lousy and have no transport what are you supposed to do....and you wouldn't want to go spreading that around anyway. On the occassion I've needed one they've been really good about it. They have a lot of time wasters in surgery. Take care, take the medication and get well soon. x
I got up feeling grim, and then I had a nosebleed. I didn't even want to get in the shower but I did and it livened me up a bit. I've done all I'm doing today. Oh buffer it, what a lot we are. I blame the government.

huh well, that wasn't very nice, they decided my sore toe would prevent me exercising enough to get myself stressed (probably true) so they injected me full of adrenalin to simulate the effect, which involved the customary 20-minute dig to find a vein; at least when they had produced unbearable chest pressure they had somewhere to inject a beta blocker to bring me back to earth.
Anyway, they found a slightly underperforming artery and have put me on a low-dose statin that won't cure it but should stop it getting worse.
So now I am home with my sore toe once again. Sigh...

It is as Robi says very cold today. I've been out to town to do my last it of shopping. It was quite good down there as there was a school choir competition I the Westfield. (It's not called that anymore but I can't remember what it is now). It was lovely to hear them singing Christmas songs.
Going delivering cards again later. Then that's me done for the day. I've got an allergy to something so I've got some anti histamines for a week from boots pharmacy. I think it's a new automatic air freshener I started to use which has now been sidelined. I think I'll put it in the shed. :-) Have a good rest of the day all.

I was on statins once before and they hurt my arm so I came off them. The new doctor couldn't figure out why the old doctor had prescribed them in the first place as my cholesterol is okay. But this time it's arteries rather than cholesterol as such. I do not want to go through the stent business OH had to undergo, it didn't sounds too pleasant.
Oh well, something new to have for breakfast.
