Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

I love these winter nights, tree all aglow, fire glowing, cat sleeping in front, and me warm as toast in my freezing bedroom!

Just hoping that all the invalids are coping and getting better!

I had a GP appointment for Friday and a podiatry appointment for Thursaday week, but I decided burger it, I'm not going limping all week, so I went to a hobble-in centre instead and they've agreed my toe has an infection, but only in its early stages, so they've prescribed some penicillin. I will cancel the other appointments tomorrow.

Good idea getting it sorted Jno. I am cold. The heating is on, I have had a hot dinner, am in furry pyjamas and I am cold. Maybe a brandy will warm me up?

I don't know what it was today, I went cold this morning. Managed to thaw a bit by 2 o'clock but stayed dead from the knees down. I've come up to bed with a hot-pack and bedsocks...any moment now I expect I'll have a tropical moment and be flinging everything off.

Good morning everyone.

Weird dreams last night, I mean even weird in the dreams, was quite glad to be woken up by the cat.

Very windy here today, glad I'm not driving anywhere, would worry that the car would be blown off course. Christmas carols and canapes this evening in Sta Gertrudis (a litle village just outside my one) Mr N not an xmas caroller so am going with gbf!

Morning all..I finally warmed up in bed but slept in shifts -had a few hrs - awake for at least 1 & half - then slept again. I had a strange dream too neti during the first phase. I should have jotted a few words down because I'd forgotten after the second sleep.

Batten down the hatches, the winds are coming (so they say). Amazing sunrise first thing but it's just dull and very cold now. Better get my cards in the post.

Good morning all. My circulation is working again today and I am warm again which is nice as its cold again here today. Today is my cards and parcels day too....or maybe tomorrow.

we both sleep in alternating shifts, Robi - one of us awake at all times. Not sure whether it's because we work different shifts [back in the 2000s], or because we are making sure jno jnr [now 32] always has a parent around to feed him. Either way it is something to do with adaptation and Darwin.
