I have a shed full of toys that are in good working order and I wondered if there is a charity that would 'regift' them to children?

I bet your local radio station is doing a toy appeal Charisse.
I think the Salvation Army or St Vincent De Paul would be happy to pass them on.
It's good of you to be thinking of others now at the run-up to Christmas.

I had not thought of Barnardos! That would seem the obvious choice. There is a shop nearby as well as a Salvation Army. I shall call them both tomorrow. Thank you. I had thought about selling the toys on Ebay and then donating the proceeds to charity but think that regifting them will be better.:0]
Have you thought about your local hospital. It will have a children's ward
Barnados was my first thought too..or if you have quite a lot of toys why not spread them around between Barnados and the Salvation Army, even a womens refuge center as many women and children have to leave their homes in a hurry over christmas and for obvious reasons cannot take their bought gifts with them..if you had time to wrap them too would be a fantastic goodwill gesture as the staff in all of the mentioned places dont get the time. I think that your regifting idea is lovely and i too will now be doing the same. Thanxu
What do you mean by disadvantaged? Mentally or physically?
She means disadvantaged as in..........not much money in the family.
