Does anyone have any information about Hessle Homes, Hessle Road, Hull (not Hesslewood Orphanage), especially 1956-1960

what is hessle homes? i was born in hessle road in 1968

Hessle orphanage was on Hessle High Road, the buildings still exist and have been modernised and still in use.

The actual orphanage closed in the eighties.

I visited a few times when I was a child, I knew few people who were at the orphanage.

I don't know much more, but I would love any information anybody might have.
