as long as you work and pay for your child and are fit to look after it, 41 is about border line i would say, but if all is working down under its mother natures way of say ok i think. x
I agree with recuitment. As long as you are both physically and emotionally capable at your age then i see no reason why you shouldnt go for it.

I think its also important that you are also both fit and healthy so you can be active with your child.
Hi, I am 41 and my kids are 5 and 6, I have to say that I am permanently knackerred!! - I think the benefit of having kids younger is that you have more energy, but the benefit of having them when you are older is that you are usually more financially stable and can probably afford more help. Big disadvantage is that your parents (if they are alive) are less able to help you out with childcare. My sister had her first at 39 and 2nd at 42, she seems to cope well and I don't think it is too out of the norm nowadays. I was at a neighbours the other day as she was celebtaing her 40th - her son has just turned one. Most of the other people there were either about to turn 40 or already over it and all had small babies of a year or younger - It actually made me feel that I had had mine young!

41 isn't too old to have a baby. But, as you work two jobs, and have two kids already, are you willing to give your work up for the new baby?

If you are, and can afford to, then fairplay. If you're going to ****** off back to work immediately, then I don't think it's fair.

PLUS at the age of 41, how come you aren't mature enough to decide for yourself, whether YOU are ready for another baby, and why feel the need to ask a load of randomers on an internet site?! Surely you should make up your own mind! Grow up.
chimpanzee, how very rude of you.

Perhaps you need to take hed of your own advice and look at some of your questions posted in recent weeks

Taylor, I would go along with the majority of answers on here, as long as you are capable of raising a child and having not only the love but the energy and the finances to provide for a child then I dont see what being 41 has to do with it.

you are never too old or too young to have a baby. if you are physically fit and can concieve i dont see why not!!
