He can be cute

Cute, Abbey, is not enough to base your opinion on!!! Have to go deeper than that😊

Ignore the beard and piercing. It's what he's like as a person...do you like him? If you do, the other things shouldn't matter.

Just go out with him...you might miss him when he's away πŸ˜‰

Offering to look after me when I said I was hungover

So he's kind too, another positive

Question Author

Yeah hopefully if it worked he would stay like that

Don't worry about whether it will work or not, just go, relax and enjoy his company.

Question Author

We won't be classed as seeing each other will we if it worked out?

Pardon?

Just enjoy his company and get to know each other.

Were you hungover from the night before or did you get drunk with him? Not a good thing on a first date.

Beards and piercings can easily be removed

What?

Can we have some reality, everybody says nice things on first dates to each other usually. Just because he said he'd look after you if you were hungover does not mean he is always going to be a nice person.

Abbey, your post at 15.09 doesn't make much sense really!

What does 'classed as seeing each other' mean?

Quite simple. If you have doubts; however trivial they may seem, say no as there are plenty more people to choose from.

Question Author

If this second date worked out.

I can't ask him to remove them

I'm sorry to hear you don't like beards Abbey, that rules me out [sob sob]

Abbey, so you were asking 'If a second date worked out, will we be classed as seeing each other?'.  I'd 'class' you as having had two dates, nothing more than that! Relationships take a little time to build up, and only then would I describe one as such.

Your question puzzled me - I don't know whether you wanted to be classed as seeing each other!

Question Author

Well we not seeing each other now

You can't ask him to shave his beard off after two dates. Imagine if he asked you to have your hair cut or stop wearing animal print clothing for instance!

Question Author

Well obviously I wouldn't
