And those asking after Mic. He has been a real grump today. All windows open two fans going full blast both aimed at him. In the mean time I've been in the kitchen cooking dinner in, according to the thermometer of 36 degrees.
Roll on cooler weather. Other than that he is okay. No better, no worse.

I suppose I was lucky in that MrG didn't get grumpy but life throw some crap sometimes.

I remember once after nine weeks in hospital he was allowed home if the place was pristine and hygienic...it was...til the *** pigeon fell down the bedroom chimney.

Got MrG into bed and awaited the visit from the medics...he had a horrendous wound that had to be checked daily and there had to be no risk of infection.

There was I....trying to convince them there was no risk of infection while the pigeon flapped and fluttered sending ash and soot into the bedroom.

But hey....we can laugh afterwards...a long time afterwards I know....but we laughed.....xxx

It can get very uncomfortable , the damp facecloth trick does help, back of neck is cooling.
