Bought one of these from Tesco's today. Been thinking about it for a while and finally gave in. Had to try it out on kitchen floor. Hard work at first until the pad got wet enough then it was quite easy. Cleaned the floor quite well so really impressed. Has anyone else bought one?

Yes, we bought one in Aldi recently - needed something new to deal with our new laminate floor and cats who spill their dinner. Excellent - we're really pleased, especially as it was only £26.

Oh gosh I thought I had a bargain at £58. Mine is a Morphy Richards, what make is yours boxtops?
It's not a big brand one, caran, but it works... we saw them advertised on the Aldi alert email and we thought that if it's only £26, it won't matter too much if it's not very good. But it is!

We thought the same about our halogen cooker from Aldi, when we bought that as a trial - that was £26 too - I've seen them in the shops for around £89 so am very pleased with that.

You have to watch Aldi alerts though - if you don't get there before 9.30am, the best items have always walked out of the door - 14 steam mops left during the time we were there!

We bought a halogen oven three years ago. Used it twice couldn't get on with it. Yet my brother uses it every day. Hasn't switched his gas oven on in two years.
I keep saying must give it another go. Then again I love my Actifry use it quite often! never had a failure yet. Slow cooker I use occasionally. Where would we be without all these gadgets?
Most of my must have gadgets are in a cupboard never to see the light of day again.
bought a Shark steam mop [ as advertised on shopping channels] about 6/7 years ago thought it marvellous as I had a sick husband plus two dogs and a cat to look after and need to keep the place clean and fairly germ free,This year it gave up the ghost so now I have a Vax steam mop which does the same job but out of the two I prefer the Shark, both make the job quick & easy, sadly I only have one cat to look after now.
