Yes, you can.
Ali, please have a look at this link, it should help you. Bert is right, you are legally entitled to move out of the parental home without their consent:
https://www.childline.org.uk/explore/crimelaw/pages/rights.aspx

Do come back to AB and ask if you need advice or just someone to talk to as this is a big step. Sometimes the grass isn't always greener so take care and make sure he is genuine.
All the best.
How will you support yourself?
additional: Ali, think long and hard about this decision.
Would you to able to return home Ali if things didnt work out?
Think carefully before you move away from home. Take care.
Please don't move out - enjoy your parents while you can. You can have only one mother and father but loads of boyfriends will come your way. You are far too young to take on domestic responsibilities.
You can only have one mother
Patient kind and true
No other friend
In all the world will be as true to you.
What about all the crap mothers?
I'm not sure if Hallmark moments are going to help.
I never had a crap mother or father for that matter. Guess I was very lucky!!!!
I imagine your boyfriend is of similar age. Has he and/or you sufficient income to support yourselves. Or are you going to throw yourselves on the mercy of the hard-pressed taxpayer and then plead poverty? I'd be really interested to know.
So did I, JJ, but not everyone is so lucky.
You are sounding like my granddaughter. She hasnt got a boyfriend but keeps on saying she wants to move out of home. I keep saying why.??? And then you get the....my mum is horrible she doesnt understand...I have to be home earlier than my friends..ect. ect.!
You are only 16 and have your life ahead of you...enjoy it. ! Boys come and go at that age...why do you want all the worries that go with living away from home.?? Money has an awful lot to do with it...you need lots of it to go it alone or with a boyfriend. Bills, food, living expensives..the list goes on and on. Do you really want that now?
Think hard about this please.? xx
Love goes out the window when there is no money!!!!
You may be able to move out but you can't leave full time education until you are 18. You can not claim any benefits until you are have left education and you can only work limited hours with the premission of your school or collage.
