they have taken d.n.a samples from a little girl in india..british and american tourist alerted the police and are convinced it is the missing girl..lets hope so..

So in India you can just point at any passing child and say that Maddie and they promptly try to take your child away.

And when they are found to be wrong - Lets hope that the parents sue the tourist and the police arrest the american for attempted abduction. Imagine what the 8 year old girl is going through, if its true.

maybe ummmm, not sure i would risk putting out a photo on an assumption if it was my kid..... that could be really misleading

davethedog,you could argue about every aspect of the case..were they wrong in leaving the child a few hundred feet away?? what if this?? what if that?? really you could point the finger of blame as people have at the parents but wouldnt if be great if it was the little girl and the people who snatched her were arrested and the little one was re-united with her family,but i do wonder how the girls mind will be..

Boolsdawg, do you know how hard it is to look close enough in a child's eye. I tried several times after Maddie disappeared, and I can assure you it is not easy, and strangely enough, normal parents do not like you approaching a child. Having said that, the Police could look easily enough.

Not traumatised at all or are you advocating that you should be able to stop any 8 year old blonde girl and threaten to take them away because you think they look like a missing child.

davethedog im not advocating that scenario at all mate,but no stone should be left unturned to find her and if that means bringing it to the attention of the relevant authorities if a possible sighting occurs then it should be dealt with properly,and if there is nothing to hide then im sure whoever is with the child will not hinder anyone in their enquiries if they have nothing to hide.i do not like the thought however,as reported that an american tourist tried to take the little girl away from the people who she was with,that would upset any child...
