Is there something you would like to tell us 4get?????

In answer to your question, I'm not too sure. The only definitive way to know is by having an amnio test at around 18-20 weeks, however sonographers can tell you before that but they have been known to be wrong.
After 12 weeks.

Congratulations 4get.

I don't think it's 12 weeks. We just went in for a scan where the baby was 13 weeks and they said it would be at the next scan.
congratulatioms squarebear.
Thanks warpig but it's my wife doing all the hard work now.

I only asked a question. I am not preggers!! lol. Its ok I was confused as my mate told me she was having a boy other day and she is only 17 weeks but apparently you can have it at 14 and they offer you it from 16weeks privately
I only ever had a dating scan at about 9 weeks - you can clearly see some bits that look like testicles showing up as two white dots on the scan - don't know if that is definitely what it was, but I did have a boy.
Babies are not physically fully formed until at least 12 or 13 weeks so even then it would be very hard to determine the sex of a child before this time despite what others would tell you
My daughter was told at her 12 week scan this time around, she had to wait until the 20 week scan last time.
I was told the sex at my 12 week Nuchal fold scan, baby's boy bits were clearly visible on the scan too.
I had to wait until the second scan with both of mine, and then everything was very visible - no mistaking at all!
