I'm surprised your go-to truth sheet even published it without something along the lines:
Pres flaunts his machete while showing a lady a good time.
That cover is brilliant. I wish I had thought of it.

standard stuff from the SGB press. The naughty people elected the wrong candidate.
Maybe they would draw the line at openly mocking the disabled?
All press publications will offend some of the people some of the time; even the DM....

When it comes to depravity, not just the press then?
Just in time for a real machete wielder to show up at the Louvre. Perhaps they will depict him as a peace loving ambassador in the next edition. Spiegel Im Spiegel.
The Daily Mail's 'Enemies of the People' front cover was repirted to the Independent Press Standards Organisation by 1200 people.

I'm not sure depravity is quite the right word. Shocking certainly but the fact that a fairly mainstream media source had the confidence to publish it shows the depth of feeling which Trump is evoking in some quarters.
Can't what is wrong with this at all !

If Trump is concerned about his reputation abroad, then he had better re-think his activities.

AOG....you are the last person I would describe as sensitive....if the DM is so upsetting, change your daily Newspaper !
I was always told that you never judge a book by its cover.

Of course, an image as published is going to divide opinion but it is a question of personal interpretation.

There will be millions who are offended and plenty more who will say it is an inspired work.

Like any work of art, not everyone appreciates it all of the time...

That’s disgusting. One of the people commenting beneath the report says “I don’t recall DerSpeigal depicting Muslim terrorists this way when they do actually behead people. Just the guy who wants to stop them”. Sounds about right.
The statue of liberty is not a person
Two people can look into a Spiegel (Mirror) and see different things.

All a question of how you interpret what is in front of you.
RandyMarsh, irrelevant. The implication is disgraceful.
The statue represents liberty, he is not beheading a person.
No, it isn't a person. He's depicted as beheading America! Sickening!
The short answer to the Question is no.

But that is not to say that this image is lodged in the 'depths of depravity' - clearly it is not since that is an inappropriately applied adjective in this context.

The image is designed to shock and cause reaction - obviously it has succeeded splendidly in both areas.
Well said Andy !
As usual, I totally agree with naomi at 12:59 and wish I'd said that.
